there r some techniques such as for multiply,divide,square,underruteetc.use these techniques and practice.these techniques helps to improve ur speed and accuracy.but remember practuce is must.

I agree with the other two postings, the more practice the better prepared you will be, and there are so many materials available to help you. Go to the bookstore at your University.
On a side note, when I was admitted to Grad school, I did not have to take the GRE because my GPA was high (3.9), so my adviser somehow got me in without taking it, I don't know how, nor do I care! :) (I am not saying this to brag, it's just something that might be worth looking into if you have a good GPA)

Lots of practice of the basics, both by hand and with calculator.
If you are practicing for the GRE, take lots of practice tests. There are a number of books out there, the Princeton Review one is good, but the more practice tests the better. The company that gives the tests (ETS?) also has a free test or two that you can take.
