I see understanding. When I am alone in the dark I start to think about myself and my life. It is a time for change within myself.

Occasionally, I see stars and pin wheels and bright flashes of light and my daughter being throttled in her sleep. Then, in a minute, I pry the piece of Barbie furniture I stepped on out of my bare foot and grope my way on to the kitchen where I was headed to begin with.

I actually have really good night vision. It's what helped me get over my fear of the dark and what might be in it when I was a child... the realization that I was a thing in the dark, too.

Hmmmmm...not much...cause it's dark...but last night I woke up with nightmares and when I looked up into the corner of my bedroom ceiling it looked like it was leaking in the corner and it was going to fall in...turned on the light - nothing there...scary hallo-weinie dreams and dark hallucinations....eeks
