Sure, you want kids to be safe, but banning Tag, and dodgeball is just stupid. Why should all the kids suffer because some are idiots that can't keep their balance. This PC BS is going too far.

YES

We are making our kids a bunch of pansy sissy wimps!
I am ALSO sick of "let's just have fun - we do not need to keep score!" YES...we do. That's the POINT of competition.

There is competition in jobs, for friends, and in reg. LIFE it is a good thing. Kids have to learn to WIN AND LOSE.
You can't always win and you have to LEARN to lose with dignity and then WORK HARDER to WIN next time.

This whole civilization is based on SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST. We are no longer teaching our kids to compete and that is wrong.

Who would ever ban Tag and Dodgeball? Those are classic kids games and loads of fun to play.

Then why don't we shackle them to the desk, so there will be nor moving around the classroom.

Sure some may burn in class fires, but it is a small price to pay to keep the mahjority safe and secure.

(When I heard that Tag banning thing, I thought it was a joke. Who's the bigger fool now?)

If a school bans tag because it's too dangerous, then the school is opening itself up to liability if it doesn't adequately supervise the kids from this known danger and a game of tag occurs and someone gets injured. The school has put itself on notice of this dangerous condition.

i hated dodgeball as a child, stupid kids were always aiming for my glasses, i have no problem with tag though, whoever wants to ban that should have their head examined.

If they keep Dodgeball, they should let kids opt out of playing it. It can be brutal, especially if they have bullies on the other team. I know from experience.

Yup! I agree. I remember when they used to encourage us kids to run around. YES some people fell & scrapped their knees - including ME! But - we we're as chunky as some of the kids these days ...

I think it's dumb too.

theres a famous slogan down here at Robins Air Force Base.

"one person $hits their pants, and where all stuck wearing diapers"

This seams to be another case, and itsbecoming american policy, things really need to start changing around here before its to late.

I completely agree with you. Kids should be able to be just kids. They are making them grow up too fast.
