Wait till you've actually missed your period, or even a few days after you've missed. The eariler you test before the missed period, the higer chance you have to a false result on a home test.

why don't you just stick it out and wait 4 more days to see if you get your cycle? That would be the smart thing to do. I get sore boobs about 4 days before my cycle starts and as for the eating all the time it might just be from your cycle. If you cycle doesn't show up wait about a week and if still nothing get a home pregnancy test and if it shows that you are expecting than call you family doc and make a appointment to get a pregnancy test there and if there test shows you are expecting than make a appointment for a fallow up. Good luck and best wishes. Just to let you know you do not have to buy and certain brand of test because I took a dollar store one and it showed I was pregnant and I fallowed up with my doc and It was right. There is no point in buying a 20 dollar test when the cheap ones work just as well. I promise no matter what test you buy it will give you the correct answer , but always fallow up with your doc just to recheck. I know it is going to drive you crazy to wait but It could be the best thing for you and your maybe baby. If you can't wait the week after than take it if you miss your cycle. and yes it is true some woman don't stop having a cycle while pregnant but the is every 1 out of 500 woman. My aunt never stopped hers and she didn't know she was pregnant untill she was almost 4 months. Just recheck with your doc and do a little research on never stopping your cycle during pregnancy it is better to learn about it than to never know about it at all.

If your periods are regular, then I would suggest waiting until the day after your missed period. My periods were never regular with my first pregnancy. I was going to wait until I was "supposed" to start....but about 5 days before I was throwing up and not feeling myself. I bought a cheap HPT that had two tests included. I took the first one, saving the second one for after I missed (in case I got a negative result). But, the first came out positive, and I didn't believe it so I took the second, and it was positive too. My cycles regulated out (amazingly) after I gave birth to my son.
My second pregnancy (which I'm still in), I was on BC pills and got off them to conceive. It took forever for me to get my son here, so I figured it would take about 6 months or longer to get pregnant again. But, when I was supposed to start my period and I didnt, and I started getting pretty tired and extra hungry (couldn't get through the day without snacking at about 10:00, which is strange for me), I took a test....that was a week and a half off BC. And, well....I'm 27 weeks pregnant with #2!
So, I guess it just depends on you!! If it were me, I'd want to know! Good luck to you, and let us know the results!

I found that it is easier to take the test rather than fret about it. Take the EPT, its the most acurate one. The first response test isn't as acurate. Besides, it's a myth that everyone stops their period when they get pregnant. I did, but I know people who didn't. I know thats weird, but it's just not something to go by is all.

Wait until you have your period, you've waited this long why not wait until you get it that's what I did with 2 of mine only even if you do get it you still could be pregnant I had my period 2 months into me being pregnant, so you just never know!

I would wait until your period is late, no reason to spend the money on the test if you don't have too. Also it could be too early to show up.

first response test says they can tell seven days before your missed period. and you can go to your doc or local planned parenhood or any womens center and they will be able to tell you for sure. most places are 5 dollars or less compared to the 15 you will pay for a test at cvs.

if your periods are regular i would wait and if you still haven't started within a week i would take a pregnancy test but it is possible that you would have to take more than one test i am a mother of four children and i had to take more than one test with all of my children
