I'm also into rock music and just heard of the band called Mew, so I'm interested in the music scene in the area, how is it?

Well I can just speak for Copenhagen. There is this one bar called Vega that seems really popular for live music sets. There are lots of clubs downtown too.

Other stuff to do here is to visit Christiana (an old hippy commune in the city), the National museum is pretty impressive and free, Rosenburg Castle is a pretty little castle that you can tour through. The zoo here is pretty decent too, you can get quite close to the animals. If you are here when Tivoli is open then you have to go there, plus they will have live bands play in the evening.

Hey, I just got back last night from Denmark. I spent a week in Copenhagen. There are a lot of things to see there, but I think you could see a lot of the main local sites in a couple of days. 6 Days there was too long to spend in one town, (I didn't plan very well) I can't tell you much about the music scene, but if you're in CPH, I'd hit Nyhaven, it's row of bars and restaurants near a harbor that have a lot of cool places to hang out. If you can score a city bike that's the best way to get around other than the train/metro. The city bikes are free with a 20 krone deposit, pretty cool.

In Helisngor, North East part of Sealand, in the castle where *Mid-Summer Night's Dream* is set, there is the plaster cast of the Holger Danske statue. It's an amazing piece of art. The bronze statue is near by at a hotel if memory serves.

Holger Danske [Hoger the Dane] is a sleeping viking who will awaken when Denmark is in peril.... Was also the name of the resistance movememt during WW2.

I lived there for years and my favorite site was all the topless beauties in the parks and on the beaches. :-)
