Given the allegations that the Bush administration may be giving credence to various interpretations of end-times prophecies from the Bible to drive their policies, how would someone go about determining if the number of troops we have stationed in Iraq has a deeper meaning?

George Bush uses religion to gain support from Christian fundamentalists. If religious pundits can connect Republican wars to prophecy, directly or indirectly, all the better. I doubt Bush actually believes any of it ---- he's just glad the sheep are falling in line behind him.
