im not looking for a cell phone...they charge u for each message and internet usage :(

Then a WiFi capable PDA? Palm TX is probably the best bang for the buck that fits you.

If you don't want monthly fee for service plan then avoid any Smartphones because most of them have only a data plan method to get online and WiFi addon for them is not going to happen anytime soon.

Casio BE-300. Its cheap and you can have full featured internet and email access by buying a modem for it. Also, Any old Handspring PDA can get you on with the optional springboard modem. Both are discontinued but do show up on online auctions frequently. You can even get some new in the box sometimes.

you don't need a PDA to do that..i have a regular sprint flip phone (samsung MM8300) and i can check my email, use yahoo instant messenger, browse the web, text message, etc. Most new phones have all those capabilities, you dont need a bulky PDA anymore.
