It seems that frequently, when there is a case of a female victim of domestic violence, or even an allegation of domestic violence, especially a well known woman, such as a star, it makes the TV news, but never when it is a male victim. It is reported that Professor Stephen Hawking has been a victim for most of the time period of his marriage. Some newspapers have picked up the story, but I haven't seen anything on the TV news. Have you seen anything? If not, perhaps we should be calling them to ask why not?

This last link is a story by the daughter of a Platte County (MO) Sheriff Deputy, who was battered for over 20 years. Anyone who would like to communicate with Annette, send me your email address and I will pass it on to her.

If a man is being abused no one will know because men generally won't admit to that.

Although it's not PC, men like to think they are superior to women and that they shouldn't be the one getting hit. It happens though because the pain of telling is worse than the physical pain.

No, I didn't know anything about it. Thanks for informing us.

I will read.

BTW, yes, domestic violence against men is not talked about as frequently.

Any abuse is wrong.

You are right, it seems that you don't hear it too often when it happens to a man.
