Anymore is does not really matter if the dems of the reps win the elections. Both parties are almost the same. Both parties push for the expansion of government into the lives of citizens, both parties want high taxes to line their pocket books, and all complaints are going to fall of deaf ears with both parties. The only difference between the two parties are a couple of social and moral issues and neither will please all of the population. I prefer to pick the lesser evil (In my opinion) and vote republican. I would like to see a "Reagan" style conservative in the White House. Someone who will end this ideological struggle by approaching it the correct way (eliminating those who would like to destroy our way of life), I would like to see someone who upholds the value of the American family, and someone who trusts the American people enough to let them decide how to contribute their own wealth to charity and stop taxing me by 26%. Unfortunately this scenario will not happen with either of our current political parties.

Iraq - If you want to stay, Rep, if you feel it's time to go, Dem

Tax policy - If you want tax cuts that favor the rich, Reps, if you want fewer tax cuts as well as possible tax hikes on the rich, vote Dem.

Social issues - If you believe the government should ban or limit abortion, sex education, and things like that, vote Rep., otherwise vote Dem.

Balance - If you want the Reps to have control of all 3 branches, vote Rep. If you want to have little happen for the next 2 years, vote Dem.

Any far right or far left way of thinking is bad for this country...why can't we just meet in the middle? Oh yeah, the rich get richer and the poor are getting poorer. It's soooo much easier to support the status quo..

it is very simple....if you believe the gov't should be limited in its power and authority, vote for a conservative-republican.

if you feel the gov't does good for the country and should have more power and exercise more authority to bring good to the nation vote for a liberal democrat.

economically speaking, if you are concerned with your finances...

if you wish to keep more of your own earned money...vote for a republican. if you wish to give more of your money to the gov't , trusting that they wil spend it for the good....vote for a democrat.

sure it is a bit more complicated...but that is the essence of it.
