Ok 2pac is like my favorite rapper. But the other day me and my brother like had this debate. he said he didnt like 2pac cuz 2pac made songs like ya gotta keep ya head up but then he turned around and said i get around. so how do u all feel?? do u guys feel he contradicted himself? or did he usually make songs with positive messages and meanings?

Pac was an enigma, even unto himself. That is part of what made him so appealing as an artist. Every artist has lyrics that will border on the contradictory at times. Yet they tell a story with every single song. Think of him as an actor using the music as a script. He was and always will be simply amazing.

it's amazing to me when people criticize artists.......we all contradict ourselves.......in one way or another.....The song keep your head up was a good song period......I get around is telling people like it is....-you wanna get with him you need to know he gets around period......I don't find it contradictory.....we all have more than one side to us....he just showed the world his many different sides.....
