Torchwood is fantastic!!! Capt. Jack was brilliant - loving the coat! Just as good as its 'mother show' Doctor Who, maybe even better! Wait and see.....

I was a tad disappointed with the opening episodes. I mean, it's set in Cardiff! (No disrespect to that fair city, but it's not the most exciting location I could think of!) And the rather Glamorous, MIB-like Torchwood of Dr Who has been replaced by four geeks in a cellar! The Torchwood crew do seem to be a bit up their own **** at the moment, maybe they are going to chill out a bit as the characters develop.
I found the much vaunted 'Adult content' a little gratuitous.
However, it has got Captain Jack, and it's early days yet. I'll stick with it a while and see how it pans out.

I have not seen the programme but will be watching tonight on BBC 2 (the repeat at 9). From what I have heard it is great and it's going to get better as it goes along.
By the way - did you realise that Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who...

Was a little disappointed after all the hype .... but will carry on watching.
Some good ideas, and definately like the fact that it's aimes at a more adult audience than Dr Who.
BUT
1st two episodes were a little weak, and there seemed to be very littel character development done in them

it was fantastic, honestly really good. i was not expecting such fun. They took the reigns of Russel T Davis and let him go! i hope the standard stays this high.
