Software Engineers can make between 60K and 100K. You usually need a degree as the job requires more skill than just programming. Basically, you will need to have knowledge about computers / networks and an ability to understand abstract topics (and an open-mind when it comes to how hardware and software relate). Also, you will need to be detail-oriented as 90% of the problems are usually syntax related (missing semicolon). Where you can be outstanding is if you can do the job and also consider the future and how a minor change can make a difference in the processing of the code, etc.
Good luck!

Most software engineers work as employees or contractors. Software engineers work with businesses, government agencies (civilian or military), and non-profit organizations. Some software engineers work for themselves as freelancers. Some organizations have specialists to perform each of the tasks in the software development process. Other organizations required software engineers to do many or all of them. In large projects, people may specialize in only one role. In small projects, people may fill several or all roles at the same time. Specializations include: in industry (analysts, architects, developers, testers, technical support, managers) and in academia (educators, researchers).
There is considerable debate over the future employment prospects for Software Engineers and other IT Professionals. For example, an online futures market called the Future of IT Jobs in America attempts to answer whether there will be more IT jobs, including software engineers, in 2012 than there were in 2002.

They get paid a lot of money if they are creative and talented. You go to college for minimum 4 years plus get a masters degree then you will be a software engineer who can get a good job, especially if you get a lesser job to do with computers and work it part time while you go to college. This makes employers to be more interested in you because you have some practical experience along with degree.

Software Engineers:
First they begin by writing code, then they write code, next they code some more, then they begin to debug the code, after that they code additional code, and finally they code.
You have to love programming to become a software engineer. Right out of the gate with a four year degree now you make 40k/year unless you are extroardinarily good in which case you can make up to 60k. Of course this will move up with inflation.
and lastly.... after all that you do postdelivery maintenance (code)

" i in basic terms cant concentration on it yet i in basic terms decide for to alter right into a utility engineer. plzz help how ought to i stay centred on coding." isn't that greater of a private subject than a technical subject? perhaps you need to ask an coaching counselor, no longer right here.
