Sureley the ICC Champions Trophy matches should be played on good pitches,I really think the the Indians are doing a pathetic job.

all the sub continent pitches are quite bowler friendly so u cant blame the indians for not doing a good job
even the matches played are on wrong pitches
if it would have been played in kolkata or some where else in india it would have been better
even all the matches are day / night matches so those teams that play at night will suffer a bit if the dew doesnt come and if the dew comes then it will cause troubles for the fielding side
so u cant blame anybody

Everybody may be expecting huge scores by each team. However, that has not happened. That does not mean that the pitches are very bad. These pitches have actually tested the potential of the batsmen. However, there has been reasonable scores in some of the matches. Dont forget that Stepher Fleming has posted good scores in two matches. Morton of West Indies has aloso posted reasonably good score as also Upal Tharanga of Sri Lanka. Overall, the batsman's patience and calibre has been put to test in these matches. Both bowlers and bnatsmen had good opportunity to prove their worth instead of purely a batsman game.

India, has always produced slow turning wickets!that's a well known fact. The soil type, and climate is such that if they try to make fast bouncy wickets it starts to break up.(they tried to make F& B wickets for the Aussie tour last time and that's why the Aussies won ,because they kept on winning the toss, and the Indians had to bat second on a pitch that had bad bounce, and was cracking up,they won in India after 20+ years)
The mark of a good team is to adjust to the conditions.

frankly saying pitches in India are too....too....slow.
But...in the Champions trophy...I AM NOT AT ALL READY TO BLAME THE PITCHES.....................
I am not at all interested in seeing a ODI fully filled by batsmen show. Actually it is so crual to to see a best bowler is getting down by even a 11th man's 100% blind shots.
Look at the W.I against the AUSSIES and England against W.I.
Both teams are bowled and batted well. That is CRICKET.

They are just preparing pitches to play to their strengths. Wish England would do the same for their home matches instead of always seeming to give the opposition help...
