I do and I wake up with such dry eyes. I feel like I didn't sleep at all. Anyone else have this problem? What do you do to help? I've heard of people taping their eyes shut, but dont know if I can do that hehe.

My roomate used to sleep with her eyes open- not wide open, but just cracked. She never complained about dry eyes, but if I were u I would just make sure I stayed stocked up on Visine.

My mom took me to the eye doctor as a kid for another different problem completely, and he told me that my eye lids can't close completely on one side. They don't look goofy or anything when I'm awake, they just don't close. That's when I learned why I have this constant layer of goo around my eyes when I wake up. Not pleasant. Some mornings I have to soak my eyelids with a warm wash cloth to loosen the stuff up.

On a funnier note. My brother-in-law actually sleeps with his eyes completely open, wide open. It's freaky. You'll think he's awake and looking right at you, but he's not, he sound asleep.

there were less chances for people sleeping with eyes open. Everyone sleeps with eyes shut. Maybe you should put more eye drops to maintain the moisture of the eye.

I slept with my eyes open when I was in Vietnam. It was pretty scary - I would wake up when I saw something move. I still sleep that way from time to time and moving objects will wake me up.
