Hallowed Eve--the eve before All Soul's Night when innocent people can venture into areas that are baited or they can touch or play with things that are baited--all in the name of innocence.
It is like the Air shows they have every year. At the Air shows you always see R.O.T.C officers. At Halloween, unseen to the average person are satanic agents, selling so-called innocent books and "accursed things." You better believe it.

Halloween is what you make of it. As far as I'm concerned it's a holiday for both adults and children. It's fun to become someone else for a while. It's fun to scare and be scared. It's my favorite holiday. That it coincides with Samhain, the Wiccan new year just makes it all the better for me! =)

Halloween is more a tradition than a holiday. I believe it is a wonderful time for imagination in children. It allows them to be someone else for one day, to interact with others, and to learn many safety rules. It is for adults as well though. We get to hand out candy and interact with lots and lots of innocent little kids who touch each of us in one way or another.
If you havent heard that country song about it, ("Met God's Will on a Halloween Night...he was dressed as a bag of leaves...")sometimes.sometimes you meet people who teach you things.
Of course you could also say it is just another way for the candy companies to make money..

A time to be able to dress up, get some free candy, act differently, go to a party, watch some scary movies and hopefully scare a couple of people{kids too!}! Halloween should be fun for everyone!!Happy Halloween!!

None of the above. I used to buy those little crosses and put in treaters bags, now I help out at the church where children NEED to learn about the Lord, and not scary evil things.

I think Halloween is a holiday to celebrate...everything....and for kids to get free candy!!!...I also think it is a holiday so that kids can injoy their youngness because sooner than later they are going to have to grow up!
