well theres only one way to fix this prob u have to re-download all those songs ill tell u how to do it for free first open your internet then type in your search limewire after that pick the one that says limewire then once its open chose get it now in red after that scroll down and pick basic after that it will ask u a question will u or not use limewire for copyright infagment u say no then u will download it for which ever os u have after all this is done open limewire and go to search then programs type in its blank space limewire pro then press enter after it is done searching of found it now ONLY download the ones with the compressed folder icon beside it pick limewire pro 4.12.3 that is the newest version of limewire pro after it downloads go to library and go to programs and fing limewire pro and hit launch after that it will open up a window and u just click on the one that has a icon and it says limewire pro 4.12.3 on it and click it then it will ask u if u want to extract files or run click run and it will run the installer here now just follow what it says and your done.

Now if u hit launch and it said on the icon setup DO NOT CLICK it that means its a virus and u need to delete it and dont worry as long as u dident open it u will be fine and just go back and find another one and if u download a file in programs only and it does not have the compressed folder icon then u will get a virus that is y it is better to download the compressed folders than the program itself (just remember that if any program in that compressed folder says setup and nothing else its a virus and close the folder and delete it) and after all that u can re-download all your music and put it back in windows media player

First of all, when you do a system recovery it wipes everything off from the hard drive that is not Windows. If it is a system restore it will take the operating system or windows to an earlier point prior to problems or infections. If you did a complete restore everything is gone and unrecoverable unless you took the music from cds. if you downloaded it and even if you backed it up the currrent media player would not be able to play it due to certain emcrption keys that are embedded in the music from that specific installed version of the media player. I am sorry. Why did you do a complete restore? What you might try doing in the future is installing you My Music file on a completely different partition on your hard drive or burning the music to cds.

undo the system restore & 1st burn your music & playlists on a DVD or CD depending on the drive on your computer.

When you goto system restore you have an option of undoing the last restore.

If not or if your computer was in a terriable condion before the resore then sorry doll you loast the files.

undo the system restore, then back up your music on an external harddrive, and then redo the system restore if you want. to undo system restore, go to start, accessories, and system restore, then there is a bullet thing you can punch, click undo last restore, and let it work its magic
