israel. the arab nations have many restictions due to cultural and religious beliefs. some have more ,some less. arabia is somtimes considered the most progressive, but egypt is also somewhat progressive where women are concerned. they are the two more mdernistic nations, though others are moving in that direction, while others are moving backward.

The UAE (United Arab Emirates) has made the most progress, as they are truly breaking away from some very severe Arab traditions in terms of gender. They have made great strides in regards to equal voting rights, social freedom and equality opportunity in the workplace.
