As a geographer of sorts I imagine some mountain communities that serve tourism as well as some larger communities based mostly on farming and manufacturing.

The word I would use is 'beautiful'. This is based on what I hear others say about how the countryside looks.

FYI...small town in Texas resident but near Dallas.

Are you really from Idaho? I always assumed Idaho didn't exist. Never hear anything on the news or read anything about Idaho anywhere! Must just be a big patch of dirt where people grow potatoes???
