Move on. Sounds like you asked her to stop, but she continued so she obviously dosn't respect you.

If she's started flirting after 18 years of happy married life then there's obviously a good reason for it. Maybe she feels you don't find her attractive anymore, or even that you don't love her anymore. She may need spontaneous reassurance from you and if you are not offering this reassurance she may be trying to find it elsewhere, hence the flirting. I think all women -and probably men too- go through these feelings in mid-life. If you love your wife you'll know instinctively what to do.

Sounds like there was a reason for her to flirt in the first place. You probably just dont know it. And now you've lost interest in her all the while blaming her for your poor love life. Sounds like you need to start taking some responsibility and trying harder to be a good husband.
Or be just like the rest of the world and get divorced, give up half of your belongings and spend the rest of your life regretting it.

Sounds to me like she had been a good mother and wife for a long time.
And she is in need of some reassurance that she still "has want it takes!" She is craving the feeling of being an attractive, sexy woman and it feels good to her to be able to attract a guy still.
And she may very well be feeling some oats! (sorry, I have been there as a woman too)
And you need to decide if 18 years is actually worth ruining over a few oats. It's not to me.

You may have 18 years of happy married life. However, does she have 18 years of happy married life? Have you treated her the same way you did before you were married ?

Sounds like she is unhappy and looking for the attention she is getting from whoever she is flirting with. You need to figure out why she is feeling the way she is and resolve that. When I flirt, it is usually because I am feeling insecure and my husband is ignoring me.

It sounds like she just wants to feel wanted and attractive again. But, it also sounds like some marriage counseling may be in order. Or maybe even a divorce attorney-have you asked her if she no longer wants to be married to you?
