The entire poulation of one of the largest cities in America, Washington, DC, has no voting Congressmen or Senators to represent their issues. However, they are required to pay taxes (including the ones that support the Congress). This seems ridiculous to me. How about you?

True. Still they do have some sway over the congress. Close the bars to Congress and you'll get whatever you want out of them.

I think the number of those taxed without representation is much higher than 550,000, and it certainly expands far beyond D.C.

And a very large percentage works for the Government , how do you think they would vote , to maybe protect their jobs , BIG GOVERNMENT and all it stands for .
