I know the people are wonderful. The nature and land is beautiful and if I could live anywhere in the world right now it would be Jordan. I went there in 2003 right after the war in Iraq had started, was non Muslim at the time, American, and the people there were so friendly and welcoming to me. I miss is very very much.

Jordan appears to be a moderate Muslim State with a peaceful government. That's refreshing in the Muslim world.
Would it be a nice place to live? Well, no ocean. Not many trees. Heat. Desert. Camels. You decide.

Don't know I will do research about it and go into Encarta and look up its history. I know the other countries in the middle east have a history of violence. Afganistan just got out of a war with Russia. Come back.
