My husband taught me this just the other night. Put a little lighter fluid on a paper towel and dab it on the grease stain. Let it dry then re wash. He did it to my daughters shirt and it came out beautifully

you can try dish soap, like dawn. that is supposed to cut grease, so if you use soap and scrub it real hard, it could loosen up the grease in the fabric and make the spot fade, or at least lessen. its a tough one though - if you've washed the item already, it might just take repeated washing for it to come out.

Try scrubbing some Murphy's Oil Soap into the stain, let it sit for a day and then wash it in very hot water. That has worked for me in the past.

Try Dawn dishsoap directly on the spot. Put on, rub a bit and then wash as usual.

if it is white, then you can boil a mixture of automatic dishwashing powder and bleach and stir the shirt around in it.
