The whole notion that Microsoft and AOL "Killed it" is a bit misleading. First off, AOL shouldn't get a scrap of credit for taming ILOVEYOU, if anything they helped SPREAD it, and encouraged the ignorance that proliferates throughout their user base enabling viruses to spread much more easily. Second, it's far from dead, as it's still out in the wild, and there are so many users who have never applied the MS patches, and have no anti-virus software installed on their computers that it can still spread fairly easily, albeit only through these unpatched unprotected machines.
Heck, just about every virus ever created still "exists" because there are enough crazy buggers out there with their little menageries that they'll always exist. Luckily, the protections against them will eventually make them completely obsolete, and thus for all intents and purposes "dead".

If you are refering to the ILOVEYOU virus then no it is not. Microsoft and AOL killed that virus years ago.

no it doesnt because all these gurls tell guys they love them but when it comes to the point the guy is in love with them they just say 'i love you as a friend' thats bull u can like me as a friend or love me as a boyfriend not this complicating stuff! It pisses me off!!!
