Repulicans during Clinton era Democrats have only won 1 election in the last 9 presidential election outright, and that was Carter how is that mainstream?

Republicans indeed have had a run of electoral successes recently, as they have for much of the period since the party's inception. Look from Lincoln to now and there have only been 9 Democrats out of the last 28, or something like that.

I vote Republican these days. But I really don't think you can give all Perot's votes to Bush (or Dole) if Perot had not run.

But yes, Republicans have had more success at winning presidential elections.

Amazing how Dems conveniently forget that Billy became President with far leass than 50% of the vote. As for experience, well, he was governor of the esteemed, bustiling and internationally linked state of ARKANSAS.

How is that fertile training ground for the Presidency for all those Dems who harp on experience as a key factor?
