The positive is getting out into the world on your own and meeting new people and experiencing new things. It's very exciting. The negative is having to do your own laundry, your own meals and you become responsible for every aspect of your life. It's called growing up and it can be difficult at first especially if you're close to your family.I think you'll find it gets easier with time and as you make new friends and get involved in activites on campus. Good Luck!

PROS= you will grow up, become responsible for your own actions, you are in charge of where you are when you are, you will see the world from different eyes, your parents will connect with you on a different adult level which is cool
CONS=you screw up you fix it, figuring out money, the fact that in the first formative years of living on your own and growing up life punches you in the gut real hard fairly often to see how much you can take
Advice=ask for help when it's needed, there are solutions to everything out there, that is why there are jobs...example: you want to drink so you go to the guy that works at the store to get alcohol, you drink too much so you go to the place where it's the guy's job to make you better, you need help not drinking so you go to the guy's job to counsel you to not drink
every action has a reaction but there is no situation that can't be helped by someone
good luck

Make your journey positive all the way, cause that's just what it is.. enjoy the new adventures, stay in the moment. what happens is your choice, make all your decisions wisely, thinking of the consciences that might happen, and enjoy..

first and foremost, your freedom. you need your own independence. the only bad thing is bills., but dont spend what you cant afford, and dont get any credit cards. live within your means. but its wonderful to have your own place to come home to every night...

You have to mature real fast, learn how to budget your money, cook.
It makes you a better person, and you learn from your mistakes

You get to do what you want. You have to cook and do your own laundry. And in some cases, you have to pay your own bills. and that sucks.
