British rule over North America would have been stronger.
The British relied heavily on native American tribes to suppress the revolutionaries along the New York and Ohio frontiers, and to slow the advance of the French into Michigan (Detroit).

Originally, the Tribes were promised lands along what is now Michigan and Wisconson in exchange for this military aid.

Since there would be several British-American colonies all competing against each other, the use of Indian Scouts as mercenaries would become more prevalent, leading to the establishment of an Indian territory and later country, as teh tribes would have both the military and economic leverage to sustain themselves.

like the ancient Aztecs, they would have sold their military expertise to the highest bidder. Their Great Lakes territory would have naturally extended to the Gret Plains and the Dakotas and Black Hills.

Custer would not ever Dream of trying to take that gold.

There would be no US Civil War becasue the south would never have joined the North. North american colonies would have eventually secceeded from British control without warfare, like Canada did, but there would be anywhere from 6-10 separate countries speaking primarily English in What is now the USA and Canada.

Western Canada would not have been settled as early , if at all because there would have been no Giant American Industrial machine to frighten eastern Candians economically.

No one would be thinking Manifest Destiny and North America would resemble Europe, full of petty pricipalities and little tyrant states.

Slavery would have been abolished in 1825, two generations earlier by an order of the Crown, although the South would have fought that, only to capituate a generation or two later.

When the World Wars came, North American aid to Britain would stem the tide in the first World War, but be too late in WWII.

Britain would contest its superpower status against Germany as the Nazis developed Nuclear weapons and rockets to deliver them. Hitler is assassinated, but German technological and bureaucratic domination remains until some one with more political accumen comes along.

Russia, Jews, and certain others would be annhilated, the Muslim world via the Turks would hold sway where the Germans did not, but a far more militant India would back British interests.
Ghandi never holds sway as the Indians settle for British hegemony rather than Muslim domination.

Japan would dominate China, and rule the Pacific.

The French would play the British and the Germans and the Japanese against each other and still rule from the shadows.

10 nations of "Americans" each never become more important than Canada.

I love these sorts of questions! Makes you think

Too many things to list easily. The area would be dominated by the Grand Republic of Mexico, the French States and Canada which would include the English American States. Probably the French Florida thru Louisiana would have thrown off their French masters. Mexico, having kept Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California and perhaps annexing most of the country to the Mississippi would be strong and powerfull.
The world might be very different too with a Germany controlled Europe and the Japanese running much of Asia.
But, really, who knows?

I asked this exact question last month it gives me a chance to answer it. I think they would be less democracy around the world the strong nations would prey on the weak ones like before both world wars. Because of the US do you realize we are about a 1/2 dozen countries away from world peace a few in the middle east and north Korea, once these nations have attain representative government the world can start concentrating on more constructive matters.

If the United States did not exist, the Nazi's would have gotten the nuclear bomb during World War 2. They were very close to it. The world is a much better place with the United States around.

The cumulative advances that brought us out of the dark ages, would still be struggeling against those that would enslave us with their godless religions. And there would be no baseball or football as played by americans, that everyone seems to be against today. Every country and tribe on earth has contributed their best to create the United States of America.

* There'd be a lot more Cherokee, Ute, Iriquois, Seminole, Apache, and Sioux.

*There'd be a lot fewer if any Jews, because in the late 18th and early 19th century, the US was the only country which guaranteed Jews freedom to practice their religion.

* France, whose revolution was inspired by the US, would still be a monarchy, as would most of Europe.

This is such a good question. To start with, I'd go to every other country we have been involved in, including CIA-directed revolutions, puppet presidents, tyrant leaders, etc. Then I would go to every country we have refused to get involved in, particular Haiti and Africa. Then we'll have the answer.
