Drivers, have you ever....?

Question

Gone to pull into what looks like an empty parking space,only to almost rear-end a small car that was hiding inbetween to larger cars??
Should these little menaces (micra's and mini's i'm talking to you) be banned. Or should we give them seperate parking away from the proper sized cars??

Cap n Donna- Whats the point in spending all that money learning to drive if you then have to walk for half a mile.

And i almost rear ended a mini that was hidden between a Mondeo and an Astra, now they're hardly huge are they.

And for the record i have a Ford Scorpio 2.9, it's hardly a monster truck.

Robbie Holland- are your Y-fronts too tight sweetie. My Dads been dead a long time honey, the last car he drove was a Cortina and i won't be getting one of them. And for your information i will be in the centre of town with the big t.its as i have those as well.

you are SO right you see a space from the top of the car park only to get closer to find it's got a small car in it very annoying lol
i love your idea of separate parking space save the disappointment of thinking you've got a space!

I agree with Queenie and Motorcycles too should be banned cause I always almost knock them over pulling into a parking space or maybe they need a stand like bicycles

I've never actually started to pull into the space, but I have gotten my hopes up only to have them dashed when I see there is a small car there. They do have compact car spaces some places but not everywhere. I think if they are going to use up a normal size space they shouldn't pull all the way in.

um....i think maybe we all out to slow down and be a little more careful..... if the mini's would be considerate and park with their tail end by the cars beside of them it would be easier.... and if we all drove a little slower and stopped trying to park in the closest space available & just parked and walked (its better for us anyway) their would be no parking problems at all.

many parking garages and lots do have spaces for compacts and full size, and extra big gas hog spaces for the suv's. Just cause you are trying to take up three compact spaces doesnt mean that they should be banned. Although i see your point in wanting to park there, your vehicle uses as much gas as three of them, so you should be able to take up three spaces?

No, but I once saw a car do that and knock over a motorbike which dented the door of the car next to it.

We as drivers of regular sized cars I guess need to pay more attention to those lttle mini guys who are running around. See we can't ban them becasue everyone has the right to drive what they want and what they can afford.

no,but what does annoy me is people who dont give a damn how they park ,im talking about people who take up 2 spaces because they cant be bothered parking in between the lines ...grrrrrr

You are so right,and while we are it:lets put all small people together in a separate area.thick heads outside the towns,big t its in the center Don't get me started dumb ,dumber but you are by far:the dumbest.

This has happened to me.....but maybe if the f*cking monster SUVs and trucks were banned we wouldn't have this problem, eh?
