I had to make a decision on whether to go with pharmaceuticals or all natural. I was looking for the best results for the child, and found that no drug worked at all. The side effects were nothing short of frightening. I chose a fruit juice and found extraordinary results and the child is thriving now.

I have a son with adhd and his phsycologist suggested (to calm down and get ready for bed) at GNC they have melatonin (what your body produces in the sun, that's why you get so tired) pills they are 1mg, all natural, dissolvable, and taste like cherry. They have worked wonders for the nighttime process instead of sending him to bed and listening to him bounce around for an hour, he falls right asleep and instead of fighting with him to get out of bed in the morning, he's up and dressed before me (he's four). If you have any q's you can email me look on my profile.

My brother was diagnosed with that when he was about that age and drugs had always kind of freaked my mom out so she had him tested for food allergies. Long story short she changed some aspects of his diet and it worked. Good Luck!

My friends give their son something called smart fish. It is a fish oil that is orange flavoured. They got it at the pharmacy and they swear by it. As long as it takes it everyday. Good luck.
