I notice that if I have 2 or more browser windows open on my computer at the same time, and one of them is at Yahoo, yet I'm working in the other at another website, the other website periodically flips over to Yahoo all by itself. This is very annoying, and I'm thinking Yahoo has some secret code hidden on my machine to do this. Anyone have any information about this?? Thanks in advance!

I don't know much about computers but I had a 'browser hijacker' program installed (without my knowing it) and my browser kept going to a particular site (not yahoo). I downloaded a free program that 'cleaned' from my system. I don't remember the name of it but I do remember googling browser hijacking......
It MIGHT help.

Which browser are you using?
Are you sure the window that refreshed wasn't opened by clicking on a link in the other window?

Try opening a completely new window by using the menu (File -> New Window) or the keyboard combination (Ctrl+N - IE and Firefox) and see if the same thing happens.
