Kate Bush - I love her hits especially the old ones, however can't get myself to listening to any of her albums. Sinead O'Connor on the other side, I loved her earlier albums, but since she embraced religion she's gone down the crapper. However I would have to say Sinead if only for her first album "The Lion Or The Cobra", whose voice when I heard her in the 80's was a breath of fresh air, and the lovely haunting melodies of "Drink Before The War" and "Troy"

Kate Bush, no question. Have you not heard the genius of Wuthering Heights, Hounds of love or King of the Mountain? She is a genius. She also turned her back on fame to raise a family. A truely comendable act. Nothing like the reality TV stars of today with no morals or talent.
Thats not to say Sinead isn't any good, but at Uni, no song from any one else, whether dance music to the beatles or good old cheesey childhood songs create such joy and a full dance floor than wuthering heights. EVERYONE knows Kate Bush, no one cares for sinead apart from a few devotees

Vocally they are both good, I think that Kate Bush has more variety musically but Sinead O'Connor has more depth of content politically.

I am assuming the question is which do we prefer. I think Kate Bush is the better of the two. But Sinead O Connor is very attractive, lovely eyes

Joking, right? Kate Bush is one of the most talented, intelligent, beautiful women that's ever lived - she is perfect in every way. Sinead O'Connor - wha? Des O'Connor can sing better. That fekkin 'Nothing Compares To You' (which I know was by Prince) is just bloody awful, you have to suffer through it.

I like both but Sinead O'Connor makes more sense to me and grabs my attention.
