Why on earth do you think snow is dangerous? I would stay out of the north if snow gives you the willies. I have lived in the north my whole life and snow doesn't really bother us.

Let's see...you get twisters in the midland states, hurricanes in the SE states, terrible weather (both hot and cold) in the New England states.

I hear Great Britain is nice most any time of year.....LOL

Not sure I follow this. Snow does melt, and it's perfectly natural. And there is no guarantee of safety no matter what state you live in.
