My fiance is in another state for the next 8 months. We have to fly to see each other; usually about two weekends out of a month. He really doesn't know anyone where he is, and he has a lot of work to do, but he seems really lonely. What can I do to help him feel more comfortable and not so alone?

Suprise him! I know how difficult it is to be separated for work. He will be lonely and if you don't have that constant communications and reassurances, he may be tempted to "stray". Be there for him, reassure him...stay in touch and make sure he has no doubts that you're still in love with him!
