What do you think about online boyfriends and when they finally know each other what are the chances of having a real and strong relationship if the relationship was almost 100% online except 2 months that she visited him.
Thanks

It depends on how strongly the couple feels about each other and how serious they are both willing to make the relationship work.

I met a guy online back in 1998, fell in love with him online, went all the way to India to meet him. He was exactly as I had imagined online. From the moment we set eyes on each other I knew I was in love, same for him. I went back one more time to visit with him. In total I spent 5 weeks with him. Unfortunately he ended up being forced into an arranged marriage which he regretted, but culture is culture and family is family for some. So if it is practical and distance issues can be worked out then try it, but please discuss what ifs before you get too deeply involved. Good luck.

I personally dont like the idea of online relationships because they can be very dangerous. Anybody can be who ever they want to be while their talking to you. You may be surprised at what you find out about someone when you finally do hang out with them for awhile. I would look at it as that you have to get to know this guy first before you really start a relationship or its not going to work at all.

Good Luck

I think that on-line relationships are dangerous. When I am behind a keyboard i can say and be any one I want. The true test is when you actually spend time together. I have not got any statistics however I would bet the lasting relationships only happen about 10 % of the time.

I met my boyfriend on line and we have a great and very strong relationship. We don't communicate On line any more except when we email each other while he is at work, and that is because we live together now, so need to communicate on line anymore except to talk to each other while working.

on line love is merely a beginning up. :) no longer all artwork out, yet mine has. After almost 3 years, my love is shifting here to be with me. It relies upon on a super form of issues... the two human beings in contact, if it extremely is extremely love, taking the subsequent step and making it better than merely on line, dedication, decision, loyalty, believe, etc... a super form of it extremely is comparable to dating somebody from purely a city over... you nonetheless don't be attentive to lots relating to the guy till you make an effort to truly get to be attentive to them. EDIT: forgot to declare something relating to the friendship area... some will final and a few won't. Honesty and being who you declare to be is the main important area of any dating. I certainly have pals I met here over 3 years in the past and we've purely grown closer. We did no longer stay merely on line pals.. we are area of each and every others lives... some better than others. no longer something is impossible.

online relationships, a.k.a long distance relationships are difficult. is it possible? sure, but the chances are slim. it takes special circumstances to be able to put up with that kind of relationship. the distance, the longing and yearning. it's terrible!

Actually, I just had lunch yesterday with one of my "guy" friends from collage. (many, many years ago!)

I asked him how he met his wife......."on-line" was the answer.....I was like WOW!!! I never thought those things worked out.

Anyways they must work he has been very, very happily married for 7 years and counting.

I thought it was kind of weird...But I guess it can happen.
