How long does it takes for letter of recommendation? 1 week?

Im going to ask my AP Biology teacher to do a letter or recommendation. By giving him my resume and transcript/ How long do you think it takes on average for teachers to actualy thoughtfully right them? 30 minutes?1 hour? 10 min?

I would say about 45 minutes if they are anything like my teachers were. It might also take a few days for the letters to get back to you.

Because he is an AP teacher, your recommendation should be nicely written. I had 1 teacher who wrote a recommendation for me on the back side of a used sheet of paper. I threw it out and went to someone else.
