I just came across these clips from a guy called the amazing racist. I chose this certain clip because I honestly felt so bad watching it. I mean, I'll admit I thought the part where he goes to immigration was funny, but in reality it isn't. Those poor guys were just looking for work! And when he throws the oranges at that man trying to make a living I felt like throwing up. I was embarassed to be caucasian. I don't understand how Americans can be racist against other races in their country anyway. The only true 'Americans' are native americans. Other than native americans the population is made up of decendents of spanish and british people who colonised there. It really makes me sad that in this day and age people can still be so cruel based on someones race. What do you guys think of the clip?

I don't think I'm being uptight. Like I said, I thought when he went to immigration it was funny because no one really got hurt, but when he threw the oranges at that poor man on the street I felt terrible, it was really difficult to watch and there was nothing funny about it.

You know I'm Mexican and when I came to this county I was only 3 years old. But I see more racism more today than when I was a little girl and spoke English with an accent. I don't think any race is Superior than others. This guy should take a hint from the people he is making fun of and get a real job. That's all their trying to do. You shouldn't be embarassed this guy is the one that should be. Just treat others the way you would like to be treated.

I couldn't even finish watching this video, it is so stupid. As for "racism is funny," as a question, I think that often times comedians use racism to make a point about racism, i.e. see the movie Blazing Saddles. That movie has some very racist lines in it, but they are used to make a point about racism.
The guy in this video (The Amazing Racist) is just purposely being as offensive as he can in order to elicit laughter. I don't know whether he actually believes any of the nonsense he's saying, because some of it is so outrageously stereotyped.
Everyone has their own prejudices about people from different races/cultures/backgrounds/countries, whether they want to admit it or not, but the question is whether you can overcome those prejudices and accept the differences of others.
And, remember, what's great about the United States (and the Internet as well) is the freedom of speech that allows this guy to spout off whatever nonsense he wants, just as we can all talk about it here on Yahoo!. Whether you choose to laugh about or not is up to you, but if you find it offensive, I would just do what I did and turn it off immediately.

I feel the same way you do. People that find this clip amusing are very sick individuals. Feeling good because of someone elses suffering is akin to what occured in the concentration camps. One would think that in this advanced world we live in that we would be moving closer to peace and a nonjudgemental society. When I see a throwback like this I can really understand why their should be death sentences for hate crimes. People like that should be blown out of the gene pool. Please write a letter to you government representative stating that these views are intolerable and should be outlawed immediately. Start a diologue with others and make them understand that it is time to end hate. My family immigrated to North America from Ireland and were treated like trash. It goes to show you how oppression perpetuates oppression.

As I always say... If you are truly offended by something... You wouldn't feel the need to share it with the rest of the world.
I honestly think you posted this for attention and covered your own A** by publicly disagreeing with it, because no one likes to be seen as a jerk... But I hate to tell you, that's exactly what you are for sharing this piece of crap... ( I had the good sense not to look but from your description, It is the work of an as*hole.
If it made you feel sick, if it is offensive, why give a link to it? Did you want to prove a point against it or use it to entertain people without looking like an idiot yourself?
It reminds me of the anti abortion dyke's with their crew cuts and their camouflage pants and wife beaters, in NYC on the street corners that used to parade around with billboard sized photos of aborted, bloody fetus's to prove a point against abortion.
Some things are offensive, even the biggest morons know it!
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know better than to smell sh**t on the end of their finger and then offer it to someone else to smell directly after they get sick from it... and only an idiot would smell it. I for one am not an idiot!
Just a bit*ch... Have a nice day, regardless...

Racism and prejudice is a result of ignorance. Unfortunately, people with the most ignorance get the most attention. Have faith in how you see people, and don't associate yourself with other white people. We are all our own persons and responsible for our own thoughts and actions. If you feel embarrassed about the way someone is treating or talking about another, just stand up and say something.

Don't be embarassed to be white. Just be nice to those of other colours. You sound like a nice person and I wish more people were like you. You are right about the native americans, though. You are my hero of the day, how does that make you feel???

I agree but most people don't. They get benifited don't they. But some day they will realise this. You are on the right lines. Believe me!
Oh and don't feel sorry for what others do. I am a Hindu and many people still practise caste system. but that does'nt mean I feel ashamed for their deeds.only you should stay true at heart and don't be bothered by others.

You're much too sensitive, and racism has two faces, and it takes two to tango, you're overlooking the fact that outlaws crossing our borders illegally are slapping us in the face by disrespecting our laws, thus they are racists, and cowards as well, they have not the guts to fight for freedom in their own country as our forefathers did.
