I read Shaun Hutson (horror), Torey Hayden (memoir), Stephen King (horror/ thriller) and Dean Koontz (sci fi/ horror/ thriller).
I recently just finished reading 'Beautiful Child' by Torey Hayden and I loved it. I wanna start reading more Dean Koontz, James Herbert and Shaun Hutson books. I know this might sound annoying but its better to buy books from Amazon, because the books only cost like £2 and then you pay for postage and packaging and that cost another £2 (usually sent to you with 4 days of order) compared to what shops sell the book for, you save a whole lot of money!
I think I should start reading some James Patterson books now...

The best book I've read in the last year has to be The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. My wife really liked it as well and she also rated Labyrinth by Kate Mosse (no, not Kate Moss) and The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.

Anything by Jodi Picoult. She's an excellent writer and covers some difficult topics - child abuse etc. There's always a twist or 2 in the books. I've read all of hers and would recommend them to anyone.

I like James Patterson, I also like Michael Connelly.
His are also a series, so you'd do best starting with his first.
He has a couple of different ones, but they do cross over.
Sue Grafton & Janet Evanovich are also good reads.
I'm also getting in to Lee Child's books.

Yes!
I like psychological thrillers.
eg. Beneath the skin by Nicci French
It was published in the late nineties though.
Its still a good read.
Its about this guy who stalks three women. He notices every single thing about them. Its quite creepey actually. I dont want to spoil the story for you...in case you're going to read it.
