Go to your menu bar and select "tools" or "view" (it could be under something else depending on which of the many web browsers you are using) and search for toolbars. Click on it and it should give you the option of showing or hiding the address bar.

Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, goto View->Toolbars and check that "Address Bar" has a black check next to it. If not, click on "Address Bar." It should show up. If not, it may be hiding somewhere. Unlock the tool bars by going to View->Toolbars and unchecking "Lock the toolbars." Then look for the word "Address" and drag the vertical bar to the left until the bar appears.
If none of that works, you may have spyware. Download and run Spybot to see if that gets rid of your problem.

open internet explorer check where is SEARCH,FAVOURITES,HISTORY button right click on it
and check the ADDRESS BAR
