Tornadoes have probably existed from as early as weather itself. Tornadoes probably predate rain, because air was moving before the water cycle became established. Therefore, tornadoes are almost 4.57 billion years old.

Tornados, along with any other form of weather, have been around LONG before humans came into being. There's no way of telling what, when, or where the first tornado occured.

If your doing a project on Tornados, you might want to look up Tornado Alley.. and area that runs from North Central Texas, through Oklahoma and into southern Kansas that has the highest average of reported tornados in the United States.

Well, it's fairly reasonable to assume that there have been tornadoes since before humans walked the earth, so knowing about the very first tornado that ever occurred is fairly close to an impossibility.

However, the first tornado in the recorded history of the United States was in Rehobeth, Massachusetts in the year 1671.

There must have been tornadoes back in the cave man age. So you must mean, when was the first "recorded" tornado?

First confirmed tornado, August 1671 - Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Rehoboth, named for the Biblical place, is one of the first incorporated towns in Massachusetts, having been incorporated in 1645. Rehoboth also has a claim to one of the birthplaces of public education in North America. Rehoboth claims one of the earliest known education systems in America.
