That is either a Satanic pentacle (worn by Satanists) or a Horned God/male energy (worn by Wiccans) pentacle, depending on who wears it. You see it looks sort of like a horned goats' head.

It can also be a sign of the god Baphomet for some pagan traditions (who I think is also considered the horned god, but I'm not sure). Also some Wiccan or Witch paths (again, can't remember for sure which) use this as a sign that the person has reached the second level of training in their chosen path.

In Eastern Star we use a star that sometimes is in a circle. It just means we have 5 women from the Bible who we try to pattern our lives after: Adah, Ruth, Esther, Martha, and one who didn't have a name so we call her Electa.
