I don't mean quotes or scenes that are rehashed and parodied from other movies over and over. I'm looking for general scenes and moments in a movie that are so over-used that they are formulaic.
Example: South Park mocked the "sports training montague" in one of their episodes.

What about all those teen movies where the guy has to chase the girl to the airport, where she's about to get on a plane and leave him forever, so he has to make a heartfelt speech over the intercom, or else he leads the airport security guards on a bizarro chase in order to get there in time? It's been done to death, so much so that the movie called "Not Another Teen Movie" made fun of it.

When a boy breaks a girl's fall and they looked at each other's eyes and fell in love in that instance...argh I hate that scene.

The "Field of Dreams" / "Pay it Forward" scene at the end of both films.
