just because she's blue, doesn't mean she isn't a she. that was the whole point when blues clues came out... to have fun activities for children, but also to show them no sterotypes...meaning blue being a boy, etc. So yes, it is a girl...

Blue is deffinitely a girl. 1 child of my own and 3 neices/nephews to watch it with....Blue IS a girl. (So is Magenta) The color has nothing to do with the gender as opposed to what some of the previous replies have implied.

yes, she's a girl, my little cousin watches that show all the time. Magenta is also a girl(blue's best friend). Watch the show, they say "good job girl" all the time!

hahhaha YES!!!! Blue, is a Girl....My almost 3 yrs old son, is in-love withthe show!!!
and did you knwo that she has a baby brother named Sparkles!!!
**Also, did you know that Blue, was suppose to be a cat, but they couldnt figure out a voice for it, that sounded good enough...so the found someone who could bark, like a dog and kinda talk like one(the muffle talk you hear on the show)
