I was a cutter for over a year before I stopped. I was severely depressed and acting out by cutting. Every time I did it, I felt momentary relief but it never lasted long. You are NOT crazy but troubled about something in your life. You are a nice and valuable person who deserves kindness and understanding. Emotional people are not weird at all. It is actually a very noble quality to be compassionate like you are. I hope that you will determine the underlying reason for the cutting so you can eventually replace that painful behavior with one which is more positive for you. You are a wonderful person. Don't let anyone tell you any different. They don't understand.

People judge what they don't understand, however if an ex-cutter advisise someone who is currently cutting then it would be different in the aspect from experience.
But people are *******. ******* are also known as ***-Holes or idiots or those who ride on shot buses.
Any ill-ness or disease is emotional and no one can know how that person feels if someone is telling them there something or need to just get over it there not a good person to be near.
Someone who cuts on themself it didn't start one day and they stopped the next, it took time to develope that as does it take time to stop a habbit.

Generally cutting is a sign that something is wrong in your life that needs to be resolved. Often times people are scared that you might cut yourself so badly that you would die from the blood loss and they would loss you forever.
Try to figure out why it is that you cut yourself, and see if you can work on fixing that part of your life.
Good luck to you in the future.
Ps. You should also know that telling people to watch what they say because you might hurt yourself worse is only going to make their opinions of you that much stronger. What people say to you should not be a reason for you to cut yourself.

if you cut yourself every time someone on the internet made a rude comment toward you... you'd be dead by now. you've got bigger problems then people being rude to you..
I had an x-bf that cut himself so severly, they locked him up involunarily in a mental institution for 3 days. do you want that to happen to you? I don't know what cutting does for you, but you need to figure out other ways to satisfy that need before you seriously hurt yourself. you will carry those scares for life, very likely. You DO need to seek help if you are cutting... you can't fix it on your own

I know what it means to have a need to cut. It took alot to get over it. And occasionally I still have to fight it when I am in a moment of dis-pare. People cut when they feel that they have no control over anything in their life, and their pain is the only thing that they can control. You need to find a way to get a hold of yourself and take control of this feeling! Get control of your life and what is bothering you. Yes, it is difficult to break, but so is any other addiction. But you can. I haven't done it in years. Even though it is a little difficult to fight it every now and then, I manage. Hope this helps.

Because, YOU NEED HELP! You have a problem....cutters have problems.... it is a psychological disorder.... A REAL MENTAL CONDITION! My daughter had done that, and we found the source of her problem, and we sought help. She can't understand now how she could ever could have done that to herself. She loves herself now, and focused on bettering herself, her life, and career. She is doing great. How far do you think you will get if you continue to do this???

when you cut it is because you need to feel the pain physically...not emotionally ...but what you are doing is very dangerous ... is there anyone who you can talk to who you trust? learning to deal with your emotional pain in a healthy way is what i suggest....everyone who said that you need help were being truthful....you would have never put the question out here if you hadnt realized first that you needed help...thats the first step now you just need to follow through with the rest and get that help....good luck to you..

Get professional help. Talk to your parents or your relatives. Cutting and hurting yourself is an expression of some underlying issue that you have. You need to stop hurting yourself.
