Absolutely. The only thing you can't do is have different versions of Internet Explorer on the same computer. Also, you should be able to uninstall IE7 and go back to IE6, although I've had a colleague who had problems trying to do that with the Beta version.

As for which browser, it is really a matter of personal preference. Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) tends to be the most popular non-IE browser, but Netscape still has a lot of supporters, and Opera is another free browser that I've had minimal experience with.

On a side note, IE7 certainly seems to address a lot of the features that have been lacking in Microsoft's browser for awhile, and even implements a few of them better than the alternatives; but at the moment compatibility is a HUGE problem and I would avoid using IE7 as your primary browser for at least another year while all the kinks are worked out.

Simply... yes!

I run both Explorer and Firefox.

Simply download a new browser and install it. You will be asked if you want to make the new browser your "default". This means that whenever you click on a link outside of a browser (eg CD, email or any URL not in a web page) the default browser will ope the link.

I have both IE and Firefox in my start menu so I can choose which browser I want to use.

A lot of folks swear by one or another but in reality it is all down to personal choice.

There are a lot of different browsers out there and you can install as many as you like.

Sure, I run several browsers. IE, Firefox, Opera, Netscape along with a couple of relatively unknown ones.

It's possible, I currently have Mozilla Firefox and IE7 installed and running on my computer.

Firefox is my default browser, but for some stupid pages, it does not work very well and I have to switch to IE7. This is still caused by bad Web designers and programmers that insists to use only specific Microsoft extensions that works only with IE.

Despite this, I do recommend you to download and install Mozilla Firefox, it's safer, faster and has a nice customizable interface.

Good Luck !!!

Yes. I prefer Opera (www.opera.com), but which browser you like best is a matter of preference.
