He is 21 and hes just an average guy!!!! I have no clue what to buy him?

Anything he is interested in? Sports? Movies? Music?
You could do one of those coupon books where you have a coupon good for one back massage, a night where you make a romantic candle lit dinner for two....
You could get tickets to an off Broadway show that you two would be interested in and make an evening of it.
Average guys are nice, but you should know what he's interested in, and from that plan your Christmas gift.

i will give him a very personal gift for christmas, like a custom made mug with a photo of the two of you together and then you can decide on another more serious gift like perfume, football gear of the team he likes, some nice clothes... cd's or dvd's etc.... something that he likes.

A calendar with pics of yourself-this might be something you can do yourself which will make it all the more special, if you can even include a pic of you two together for the month of jan.

If he's average and your planning on marrying him, you should know his likes and dislikes!
What is he really into? What are his hobbies? If he collects things, try and find him a "rare" one of what ever it is he's into. IF he's a reader, get him a rare book.
There's no better gift than one that say's "I know you".
