I am at work right now! My job is not very busy. See, my job is dependent upon the other people above me. When they have a task for me to do, I do it, but until they give me one my day is pretty much free. I must remain here of course, because when they do have a task for me, they need it finished right away and I am the only one who can do it (It is good to be needed). Sometimes I am extremely busy while other times I have absolutely nothing to do except this. It makes my day go by faster.
I have often wondered this same thing. I have decided that most people are either like, me, retired, unemployed or otherwise overseas or in a time zone that allows them to be on at times where it seems they shouldn't. With six billion people on this planet the odds are good that at least a large number of people are on-line at any given moment.

Hey there, I am home right now, "looking for work", because my last contract finished a few weeks ago. I'm wondering if Yahoo! Answers can in any way be considered as a resources, related to job search, or if it's just some strange type of forum.
Looking for a job can at times be really dificult, and even tough I am not working, I find I work pretty hard! Of course, I don't have time to read every answer and answer many questions. In the end, I find this service is pretty much like entertainment, and don't think I'll use it much more for my job search. Have a good day still! :)

I work from home and I don't always have a lot to do. My boss is OK with it though because I am actually on a 24/7 oncall and if they didn't let us slack off a lot during the normal business day, no one would want this job. It's actually a very good job, I am well paid, but when my customers call, I gotta jump. So I can kinda do whatever I want when my customers are being quiet.
I watch a lot of Maury, too.

Something to consider, this is the "world" we are talking to. One day is anothers night. Personally, I am taking a much needed vacation at home! When I was working, I would get on this and type away after I fed my family and had time to chill. Some days I would stay away from it, but its too much fun, so I pretty much check it out daily now.

I work on tax returns from 6 am to 12 pm. This is my break time when I answer tax related questions and try to make other's lives a little easier.

People can make a living off this site? And here I've been doing this for free. I'm not at work right now because I'm at school. Therefore, right now I'm not making any money. :-( Oh well, I don't like my job anyway, hence the reason of going to school.

My husband is a sweetie, he's supporting me while I attend college part-time. That's not an offencive question...you're just curious...& it's highly likely that there are folks on here that are at work. In my old job it would have been an easy thing to do to kill time on breaks.
