I am writing a comparison/ contrast on High school vs. College. and i need help writing on this subject. This paper has to be 3 pages long. Can anyone write more on this subject? I really need the help. I'm in a hole. And it is due Friday. I can't think of anything else to write on this. Here is part of my paper. I need to write more in detail. Anyone can help me.
In high school, teachers have to remind you of your homework. They are on your back to get homework done. However, in college, you are on your own. The assignments are at the start of the quarter and that is it. You have very few reminders.
In high school, each day you proceed from one class directly to another, spending about 6 to 8 hours each day in class. Then in college you often have hours between classes. Class times vary throughout the day and evening and you spend only 12 to 16 hours each week in class.

I would write that in college you are more on your own. There is nobody to force you to go to class, nobody to force you to do your homework. You are on your own. This is all part of helping you mature and be ready for the real world. In highschool everything is done for you, you are reminded to do this to do that, not in college, you have to remind your self. Also, the kids are somewhat more mature. They start realizing that they are not with mom and pops anymore. the reality of life sets in. The reality of their future sets in. They are not in that protective shell anymore. They are on their own. You can also write that their alot more varieties in choice of classes in college. You can study, law, medicine, engineering, etc. and you do not have these choices in high school. You have dorm life, and in high school you don't. Well, Ih ope that helps. Good luck

How about writing about what you learn in H.S. compared to College. For example. When you learn about American History, and Native American History. High School teaches you that America was friendly with the indians so as not to give you a bad impression about our American Heros and discoverers of the past. In College you are taught that these "Heroes" did nothing but rape pillage and steal from these people.

where do you go to school ? 8hrs in class for high school? my kids are done at 2:25 and start at 8:35 they get 5 mins between 4 classes and they get a 45 min lunch! To write your essay you need to go do some research, instead of guessing phone some colleges and ask for a daily schedule get the course outline book get the agenda from high school compare their oaths, pledges, sport teams scholarships boards of directors, funding, tuition, suspension etc...
