Any kind of music can be good or bady for study and I am not familiar with the research on rock or hip hop as they affect learning. However I do know that Mozart stimulates the mind more effectively than any other classical composer as studies have shown in test groups. So, with that in mind I would venture a guess that since rock music is often times more closely related to classical music that it would be better for study than hip hop.

I think the answer depends on your musical preference. If hip-hop gets the blood flowing to your brain, by all means, bust some rhymes. But if you're an honor roll student at rock rock rock rock

No!! I listen to a mixture of song genres when I do my homework and im not "affected" im 15 and predicted B's and A's in my GCSE's. So i don't think it affects you at all.
