actually, some people would find it preferrable to spend as little
time with family and friends as possible.
I know a guy who puts in 20 hours of overtime during the week as
much to keep away from his wife as for the time itself.
So sad, but some people have a great family life, but their job keeps them away from their loved ones far too much. Now
that truly sucks.........

Why is it we only wished we spent more time with someone when they die?
I swear, some old people NEVER get people to visit them, then when they die everyone feels bad.
I say, life is for the living, and if you want to do right by someone, do it now while they
are conscious.....

I was referring more to a wife and kids thing.
Young adults should be on their own, and spending as little time with the family they grew up with, and creating their own future
family.
The sad thing is when people don't have enough time for a mate and kids.
I think woman feel more bad about this then the men, though.
and guilty too..........................
though now you really need two incomes just for a family to survive

I love spending time with my family, but I wouldn't want to live in the same house. You know? I love them when they come over, and I love them when they leave. I can't imagine being gone just so I wouldn't have to spend time with my spouse.

I try to although I'm a very independent person.I live at home but sometimes wish I could be on my own again.I lived in London for 6months but had to return home due to depression. So in a way I owe my family a lot coz they cared for me during those 4-5 months of feeling down.I want to be able to have my own life and not have to be depending on my family.I do love it though when we all get together at Xmas. And though I fight a bit with my family I do realise that I may not be here today without them

Yes, I have been spending a lot more time with my family and friends. In fact, my youngest sister is planning a small family gathering in about two weeks to celebrate our mother's recent good health report.
I commend everyone who takes out the time to enjoy family because life is so short and we must value our time together as much as possible while we have it!
Peace,
Hope

I work over 40 hours a week...sleep a little less than 40 hours a week...the remaining 88 hours are not enough to dedicate to my family, boyfirend and friends...it's really sad but I can survive someway!

I spend a lot of time with my husband and daughter......we do a lot of things together.
My siblings, our families and my Mom get together once a month for a day of "togetherness"....which is fun and I look forward to it.
My friends which are just a few don't spend a lot of time together....but we do get together about 6 times a year.
My career just affords me the finances to have fun with my family...I spend only the bare minimum of time working.

Why do no longer you propose on your loved ones to party and decide for pizza. possibly all or a minimum of you and your dad or mom can play some video games jointly. It that's no longer a solid thought, how approximately ordering pizza in and lease a video absolutely everyone might take excitement in jointly?

Who is to say how much time is too much or not enough just make all the time you spend with your family really great.

I agree. My husband has turned down several jobs because of the extra hours that are involved. He now works from home with Freightliner and has the time to be with us:) Not to mention the corporate earnings as well:)

i think sometiems you have to MAKE time.. and sacrifice a little bit
of course if you have to work hard to make ends meet, then its going to be harder than for others, but family time IS precious!
