do you give yourself a little bit to wake up before you get out of bed, or do you get up immediately and start the day?

(I have to get up or I go back to sleep, my husband stretches and yawns for a few minutes - drives me nuts.)

I do both on different days. Usually, if I stay in bed for more than five minutes, I also fall back to sleep. What I tend to do is wake myself up half an hour earlier than necessary, then set my alarm again. It sort of works.

I hit the snooze button twice before I actually get up for the day. I purposely set my alarm 20 minutes early! I need that time to gradually wake up, if I'm forced out of bed, I'm cranky!

Normally on the weekdays when I have to go to work, my alarm wakes me up at 6am. Then I snooze the alarm for 10 more mins. When 10 mins past, I force myself to get up and get ready for work.

My bf does start his day until a couple hours after me, so it's so hard to get out of bed when I see him snuggled in bed sleeping.

On the weekdays though, I take advantage of sleeping in until around 9-11am. =)

I take my time. I stress easily and like to ease into the day. I despise alarm clocks. I prefer to be woken gently by soothing music or my hubby calling to me. In all on a good night of sleep about 5 minutes to get up, on a bad nights sleep, in 10.

I set my alarm a half hour early and hit snooze at least 3 times. I am sure my fiance has contemplated strangling me and throwing the alarm out the window on more than a few occasions.

I like to lay in bed and have a couple more minutes of sleep, that's why i set my alarm 5 minutes early.

Thank GAWD for the snooze button! 3 times I hit it, then, on the fourth attempt, I always glance at the clock, FREAK OUT, spring out of bed (fighting the dizziness that always comes when you do something stupid like that at my age!) then run around letting dogs out, lighting fires under school aged children and making coffee.

A night job...I really need a night job!

I just get right up and start the day with a cup of coffee. Can't just lay in bed waking up. No one will bring me coffee in there.

I always look out my window at the sunrise ... sometimes I strech, other times I curl up deeper into my comforter and mourning dream about the wonderful day I'll be having.
