Before your evening meal each night, mix a spoonful of lemon juice and a spoonful of olive oil. Not very pleasant, but it works. The acid in the lemon juice breaks down the stones and the olive oil gives them a smooth exit! :o) This does it very gradually. Some people think that surgery is the only answer but people often still have problems after having their gall bladder removed, so it's best to find a natural way of getting rid of them.

There is no "natural" cure for gall stones, they can't be "passed". The only way to rid yourself of gall stones is surgery and if you don't take care of the problem it can become a serious situation quickly. They say if you have the 3 Fs (fat, female, forty) you will get gall stones but that is not always the case I had a severe case of gall stones at 29, and I was not overweight. My daughter had gall stones at age 18, and was pregnant. You need to get to a doctor.

Coffee drinking has been associated with a decreased risk of symptomatic gallstones, according to research conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health and published in the June 9, 1999 issue of the "Journal of the American Medical Association". The study found that men (over 46,000 men were studied) who drank two or three cups of coffee a day had a 40 percent lower risk of developing gallstones, while men who drank 4 or more cups of coffee a day decreased their risk by 45 percent. The study found no relation between gallstone prevention and tea, decaffeinated coffee, or caffeinated soft drinks.

Angelic1 is correct. You may speed the process up by taking up to one half cup of each three nights in a row. I tried it once and couldn't get it all down. I know people who have and they report that what is excreted from the body is just nasty. Anyhow, I do a couple tablespoons of each a couple of times a day when I think about it just as a maintenance dose.

My Uncle swears by olive oil. He found it in an Amish home remedies book. I believe it's simply taking a few tablespoons of olive oil every day until they pass. Hope this helps.

My brother's wife had them, my wife said she had to wait for them to ummm "pass". That was AFTER seeing a doctor too.

Just remember, mind over matter, no matter how disgusting that matter is.
